Sankaty Head Lighthouse, Foggy Morning, Nantucket Island, Massachusetts
This photograph of Sankaty Head Light on the eastern end of Nantucket Island was made on a foggy morning in the spring of 1991. Sankaty Head forms the eastern buttress of the island, a steep bluff constantly pounded by storms off the North Atlantic.
